Radiant Learning Center was birthed from a passion to, simply put, help children who struggle with reading. As a passionate educator with years of experience in public schools, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of literacy. Yet, I've also seen the challenges many children face in developing these crucial skills. And lets's face it, this type of intervention HAS to go beyond the classroom. AS AN EDUCATOR, MY SUPERPOWER IS TAPPING INTO MY STUDENT’S POTENTIAL. I HAVE A VERY UNIQUE ABILITY TO NOT ONLY SEE THE VERY BEST IN STUDENTS, BUT TO ALSO SHINE THAT LIGHT SO BRIGHTLY THAT THE STUDENTS THEMSELVES START TO RADIATE AND SHINE FROM WITHIN.
my Journey
My journey into the world of literacy intervention began in the bustling classrooms of Camden City public schools, where I saw the impact that reading struggles could have on a child's confidence and academic trajectory. Fueled by a desire to make a difference, I embarked on a mission to bridge the gap between struggling readers and their potential for success. I've completed thousands of hours of training focused on the science of reading. with training from industry leaders like LETRS, IMSE, FUNDATIONS, UFLI, AND MY NJ STATE READING INTERVENTIONIST ENDORSEMENT, i am highly qualified and prepared to tackle any reading challenges head-on.
Evidence-Based Approach
At RLC, i stand firmly behind evidence-based reading interventions. Drawing from the insights of esteemed experts like Louisa Moats, carol tolman, anita archer and David Kilpatrick, i employ strategies that have been proven to yield tangible results. From phonemic awareness to comprehension strategies, my tailored approach targets the specific needs of each child, fostering a solid foundation for lifelong learning.
